Terms & Policies

Informed Consent:

Informed consent ensures that clients are aware of all the potential benefits and risks involved in counseling. Any limitations of confidentiality are disclosed as well.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To avoid possibly paying the full session fee, please notify the Counselor at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule.

Telephone Accessibility:

If you need to contact your Counselor between sessions, please leave a message on the voicemail. The Counselor may not be immediately available; however, the Counselor will attempt to return your call. Please note that Face- to-face sessions are preferable to phone sessions. However, in the event that you are out of town, sick or need additional support, phone sessions are available. If a true emergency situation arises, please call 911 or any local emergency room.

If Using Telehealth:

There are potential risks to telehealth using technology, including interruptions, unauthorized access, and technical difficulties. To maintain confidentiality, do not share the telehealth appointment link with anyone unauthorized to attend the appointment.

In the Case of an emergency:

Call 9-11 immediately.
