A Companion for Your Life’s Adventure

Your Guided Companion Trip

I told my wife that I was utterly changed from this weekend…

The Bad News (and it’s pretty bad)

There’s a lot of pain and brokenness in the world and it’s not hard to find. Men feeling wounded tend to feel shame, isolation and can stay stuck in loneliness. The results of shame, isolation and chronic loneliness are tragic. Anxiety, depression and addiction are at the front door of our families, businesses, churches and communities. Many of us as men have lost the hope of healing. That is the problem. We know something needs to change, but how? Time goes on and we are constantly on the move. Stuck in old patterns and similar environments we just keep trying harder.

What about something different, something healing?

Working closely with families and communities for over 20 years, here’s what we’ve learned: We need each other to help us see more clearly, and together with a companion, there is hope!

The solution to an overbusy life is not more time. It’s to slow down and simplify our lives around what really matters.

The Good News (it’s surprisingly good!)

Research is continuing to find that relationships with a trusted person of influence is truly a life-changing factor in not only promoting personal growth, but also protecting marriages and keeping families and communities close and healthy. Most men lack authentic relationships where with a companion they can be transparent and then transformed.

The Guided Companion Trip has been designed for soul care and transformation. There are some things that simply cannot be achieved, they must be received. We learn more about this kind of relationship from the ancient proverb, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Think about that, we use steel to sharpen steel, and one friend sharpens another, a true companion.

We are Interested in the Sharpening Process.

Ready for Change, Ready for Healing

Vision: Let’s take a trip together, you and me. The goal is to slow down and engage mindfully. Together we make room for something different, something healing. Together we move into a contemplative place to slow down, acknowledge our parts and embrace our true Selves.

We take the trip you want to take and we take it together. This is something hopeful, restful and contemplative. Author Pete Scazzero says, relax, detach and listen. and with much gratitude in the leading of the Spirit, we’ve been told this experience is “Life Changing!”

Rates are set depending on full-day opportunities and extended overnight trips.

We are not what we do, we are not what we have, we are not what others think of us. Coming home is claiming the truth. I am the beloved child of a loving Creator.

The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
